*Insert fun Jingle*
Let's start at the very beginning they say it's a very good place to start.
So I've been overweight for as long as I remember and I've been on weight watchers three times previously. Each time it has worked until I basically f**k up for a week and then it all goes to s**t.
This time I started in September 2015 on a whim, I didn't build up to it like I have done previously.
There was no 'last supper' and no over indulgence for the week before, just one day about halfway through the day I said 'bugger it' and joined up online.
I'd like to say I've been eating well ever since but we all know that would be utter BS. I've definitely had a few blips (a month off at Christmas anyone?) but the biggest difference this time is that I actually went back to it in the new year and am still losing weight!
I'm not going to share my weight with you because, quite frankly, I don't want to! It's not something I'm particularly proud of but one day, when I have lost a bit more, I might do!
So far I have lost 2st12lb!!! I am incredible proud of this but I know I have a long way to go and I wouldn't have got here without failing and picking myself back up!
So my top tip this week is, accept that you are human, if you are having a really crap day and end up eating an entire packet of biscuits, chalk it up to experience and start again straight after.
Don't do what I've done so many times and wallow in self pity, beating yourself up and deciding that you may as well also eat that giant bag of Doritos and go for that McDonalds the next day.
But again, if you do, it's OK! Draw a line under it and move on.
Unless you are super-human your resolve will waver now and again but celebrate when it doesn't and move on when it does, I promise you it is so liberating not to beat yourself up over a bad week.
