Seventeen Define and Conquer Conoturing Kit Review

Hi There folks, another day another review, I just love to give my opinion and I hope you like them too!

Contouring seems to be going nowhere, adding shape and definition to your face is part of a lot of people's everyday routine. So it comes as no surprise that every brand and their sister is coming out with a contouring kit, so today I bring to you this offering from Seventeen: Define and Conquer in the colour 'Fair'.

Packaging

The colours come encased in a sleek black, matte packaging similar to Nars and have the brand and product name emblazoned on the lid. It comes with a good sized mirror and a little insert on how to use the product, which is always useful for beginners or even not so beginners.

The Colours

It comes with a matte highlight and a matte bronze. Hoorah, Matte at the 'drugstore'!!
The Highlight colour, I'd describe as an off white, it is very pale and brightening and I use it for setting my concealer under my eyes and anywhere else I want to brighten. I still use a shimmery highlight on my cheekbones if I'm going out but I really love this for everyday and really really like it under my eyes.
The contour colour, to me, is more of a bronzer. It's not overly orange and warm but for my very pale and slightly cool toned complexion I find it a little too warm for sculpting. I like to use my NYX Blush in taupe and then use this a little higher up to almost blend out and warm up my skin.

The Quality/Blendability.

The powders feel very silky and smooth to the touch, they blend out nicely and easily.
In terms of lasting powder, they last an average amount of time, I don't tend to top up my bronzer throughout the day anyway but this lasts well.

Overall thoughts

A nice bronze and highlight palette, especially for the price. I still add a shimmery/shiny highlight to my cheekbones and a contour colour in the hollows of my cheeks but it is a really nice addition to my makeup collection and I use it quite a lot and it lives in my makeup bag now.
