Spring/Summer Hair (Styles and Products)

Hi Guys,

if you read my posts regularly you'll know I have only ever down one or two hair posts but I've done a little video on my YouTube channel (here and I'll link at the bottom) so I thought I'd do a little post as well.

I've been rocking a few hairstyles recently that I thought were pretty and also handy for when it's warm as they keep my hair out of my face so i thought I'd share those and you can watch the video to see how they're done.
I've also been loving a couple of products so I thought I'd share those with you too.

First Style:

OK so I hope you can actually see this but this is my everyday go to style. It's a simple side pony but its got a little two strand braid at one side.

The Second one is a bit more work but very simple and basically just a step further than the above and that's this:

So it's the same two strand braid but when you get to the bottom of the ear you go into a three strand braid (top pic) or if you want to be fancy you can do a little fishtail braid (bottom pic). It ind of reminds me of Elsa from Frozen too.

I've also been loving wearing my hair down either naturally wavy or a little bit straight but again I like something to keep it out of my face so I've been loving a floral hairband.

These are just £1 ones from eBay.

And the last hairstyle I've been enjoying is a bit of a throwback for me, reminds me of 90s and early 2000s but I think it's cool;
The half up half down:

So there you have the styles now on to the products I'm loving.

The first is an oil. Now I have kind of combination hair, the roots get greasy easily but the ends are quite dry and it leads me to be scared of oils but my hair absolutely loves this stuff, so much so that when I didn't use it while I was away for 4 days I really noticed the difference.

L'Oreal Professionnel Mythic Oil.

I have the small size which came in a Glossybox and it's 45ml and I've used it loads but still have loads left. You can get the 125ml here for £11.95 and I can only imagine it would last an eternity.
It really is nourishing but also helps to smooth any flyways and make my ends look so much healthier.

And of course since I mentioned greasy roots, dry shampoo is also a staple for me. I like a few but the one I keep going back to is this:

Superdrug Killer Volume Dry Shampoo (usually £1.99 but on offer half price at the min here)

This is definitely volumising, it can be a little but thick but I don't mind that and it works really well to soak up oils etc.

So there you have it, my Spring/Summer Hair post. Hope you like, and if you want to see the styles in action then mosey on over to my youtube channel here or below
