Midweek Mani- Barry M Berry Icecream

I feel like I haven't done one of these posts in ages or, indeed, a midweek post haha! But I got this recently and I thought I'd show you a little swatch/first impressions post.

First up, here is what I used:

L-R

1) Poshe Topcoat
2) Bodyshop Hemp hand protector.
3) Barry M Berry Icecream
4) Sally Hansen Double Duty Base/Topcoat

My hands are very very dry at the moment and I often forget to moisturise so when I do I need a heavy duty hand cream and this one from the Bodyshop is perfect.

So on to the Nail Colour.

I have been rocking dark reds, greens and blues for what seems like years now so since it is now officially March, I thought it was time to lighten up! I've been wanting a lilac pastel colour just like this for ages now and this one is gorgeous.

The Brush.

I have to admit that this is my least favourite part of this product. The brush is very thin and round and I prefer a thicker, flatter brush. I suppose it's good for precision or if you are not great at painting nails, to me it makes it a bit streaky.

The Formula.

I have little complaints about the formula, it was opaque in two coats. It took a little longer than I expected to dry but that could have me being heavy handed with the base coat.

Here is the finished product- 2 coats with a base coat and top coat but please ignore my extremely dry cuticles- I'm working on it!

Are you looking forward to spring? What nail colour are you rocking right now? Let me know in the comments below.
