Valentines Party Makeup Look ft MAC Pigments & more.

Hi Guys, I will first of all admit that I've been slacking on the blog front recently, one a week and this one is probably a bit of an easy one too.

Truth is, I have a lot going on work and home and something has to give for my sanity and usually that is my blog since work pays me and I haven't run away from home since I was about 11 when my sister wouldn't let me go to the disco- I only got as far as around the corner before I got scared lol.
Tangent!!  I've still been filming videos because to me they are easier... don't ask!

With V-day around the corner I didn't want to do a pretty date night makeup so this is my take on a valentines party look, I'll show you some pics, tell you what I've used and link the video so you can all go watch it for yourself so here goes....

As you can see from the pic, I've gone with a reddish-plumish eye which is slightly winged out, a shimmery pinky gold cheek and a bright purply pinky lip- god I get an A* on colour descriptions as usual.

I've gone with my usual base, you'll have seen me mention it before:

Primer: Nivea express Hydration Primer
Foundation: Rimmel Lasting Finish 25hr Nude foundation in Ivory
Powder: Rimmel Stay Matte in Translucent
Concealer: Maybelline the eraser in light

Now I would say that this was the star of the show but for some reason my lips always seem to steal the limelight. I did a pinky, reddy, plummy toned eye like I had in my January favourites video as I got a few compliments:

Please ignore my brows, they seriously need doing!!

Primer: Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in the lightest shade as I couldn't find any of my 3 primers lol
Base: Maybelline Colour tattoo in pink gold
Lid: Mac Pigment in Rose
Crease, outer v and inner lid: Mac Pigment in Rouge Heritage
Tear Duct: MAC Pigment in whisper pink
Brow Highlight: Sassy (white) and Standoffish (light pink) from TheBalm
Liner: Serious (matte black) from TheBalm
Mascara: Benefit They're Real
Brows: Makeup Revolution Ultra Brow tint in Fair with a little medium brown eyeshadow from MUA

I wanted to keep my cheeks fairly light as there was so much else going on but I wanted a nice sheen so:

Blush: Sleek Rose Gold
Bronzer: Benefit Hoola

My favourite feature dontcha know...

Lipstick: Sleek Mystic topped with a little MAC Girl About Town (off camera) to give it a little more pink.

So there you have it, the completed look, hope you like it, feel free to check out the video here or below:
