January 2015 Beauty Favourites

Hi there!! It's the end of, for me, the most depressing month of the year!! Woo hoo!! So I thought it about time I did a little favourites post.

A couple of these items I may have featured before but it's a January favourites and these are the items that I've been reaching for this month.

Here goes:

Now I love a good makeup brush but these are the three that have impressed me most this month:

Senna Hi-lite brush. I've been using virtually nothing else for packing colour on my lid. The size and density means it picks up a great amount of colour but the kind of domed end helps with the initial blending should you requite that.

EBay Tapered Kabuki-Style Brush. This wee man has been doing a great job of blending my concealer, highlight and also powder. It's tapered end means it gets into the nooks and crannys of the face like a dream!

Keli Angled Brush from Amazon. This is a small little angled brush which I've found perfect for brows and liner alike. It's handle is small too which means it is great to take in a makeup bag.

Rimmel Lasting finish 25 hour Nude foundation: I am currently on my second bottle of this stuff and that speaks for itself. It has become my holy grail drugstore foundation. It blends seamlessly, doesn't accentuate dry skin, lasts ages, sets well it is just fantastic. Also at the minute Rimmel is 2 for £10 in Superdrug.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer: Yes, I know, everyone already has and has raved about this bronzer for ages but I only started using it late December. I really love the tone, not too orange and not too ashy, I love how it blends and how it lasts the only thing i don't love is the price.

Makeup Revolution Radiant Lights Powder in Breathe: You will have seen my review (click here) on this stuff (check it out here) where I raved about it. It's just gorgeous and at £5 you can't go wrong.

Makeup Revolution Redemption Palette Iconic 3: Just about everyone knows that this palette is a dupe for the hallowed Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. I didn't invest in that one as I wasn't sure about the colours but at £4 I gave this a go and I'm kind of loving the pinky and plumy shades.

Wet 'n' Wild Colour Icon Eyeshadow in Nutty: This is a gorgeous shimmery taupey colour and it blends like a dream. I've used it alone all over my lid or with a matte colour in the crease for a simple eye look.

Makeup Revolution Ultra Aqua Brow in Fair: This stuff has transformed how I do my brows. It's so good for the price. If you want to see a full review click here.

No Lozzy Loves Lippy Favourites would be complete without a few lip products so here they are:

Wet 'n' Wild Colour Icon Lip Liner in Fab Fuchsia: I love the formula and lasting power of this, I also love the colour and the price. It's not easily accessible in the UK but you can get it in Ireland (North and South) and America and it's fab like the colour suggests.

Revlon Matte Balm in Elusive: This comes off a bit brighter in the pic but to me this is kind of a pinky nude and about as nude as I can go. I like the formula, it's matte but stays creamy and doesn't dry the life out of my lips.

Seventeen Mini Lip Lustres: I picked these up for half price in the airport on boxing day and they are just so handy for throwing in a bag. There were 6 colours and they have a nice gloss and some sparkle but aren't too sticky. I've liked layering them on top of lipsticks.

Maybelline Colour Elixer: It's the formula of this that I like, it's really balmy and nice and hydrating, it's got good pigment and when the glossiness goes away it leaves a nice trace of colour behind. The colour in the picture is hibiscus haven and I also have the violet one, wouldn't mind more of them so leave your recommendations in the comments please.

So there we have it, my January Faves. Let me know what you were loving throughout January in the comments and feel free to watch the accompanying video here or below:
