Makeup Revolution Ultra Aqua Brow Tint Review

If you watch my YouTube videos you'll have seen me use this stuff recently, the Makeup Revolution Aqua Brow Tint, I got it for Christmas from the other half as I wanted to try something other that a powder or mascara type thing and I haven't looked back.

The product comes in these little squeeze tubes which reminds me of the OCC Liptar tubes with quite  a small nozzle so as to allow for control when dispensing the product, I quite like it and find it easy enough to get the amount of product that I need.

The Colours

I got the colours Light (left) and Fair (right) as I didn't know which would suit me best. My eyebrows are naturally very fair but my hair is mid brown with a purply tint, I tend to match more to by natural eyebrow shade as I find matching to my hair looks really fake so I found that fair was the perfect shade for me.

Fair is a cool toned taupey beigey brown colour (oh god!) and light is more chocolatey and warm in colour. Below is a pic of me wearing fair.

The Application.

The first thing I'd say is that you need the smallest amount of this stuff for both eyebrows, below is about as much as I use (one dot).

You can see that it's not very much at all.
It is quite a thick liquid, I put a drop on the back of my hand and I take it on a very small angled brush, starting on my arch, and filling in as I'd normally do with powder. It took me a little practise to get used to but it's just as quick as powder and I feel that the effect is nicer.

The Lasting Power

With powder I often find that it fades through the day but this stuff doesn't, it sets to a natural looking finish, it's not crispy or waxy but it doesn't budge, I still definitely have to remove quite a bit at night when I'm taking off my makeup which is good. I wear my makeup for around 12-14 hours a day and I never feel like I need to touch it up.

This is probably my favourite part as I love a bargain. It's only £3!! If you compare to similar products like the Makeup Forever Aqua Brow ( around £16/£17) or even the NYX Brow gel (around £7) it's very affordable and also a lot easier to get hold of in the UK so it's a winner all round.

Overall I am really enjoying this product, I will probably repurchase if I ever run out but I think this 10ml tube will last me ages. You can get it here if you want to try it for yourself

If you want to see my apply this, you can watch a video here or below.
