Makeup Revolution Radiant Lights Powders- Breathe and Exhale

Hi all!

You might have seen my what I got for Christmas haul (see here) and noticed I got quite a bit of makeup revolution stuff from the other half. I so often do hauls and forget to review the stuff for you so I thought I'd do this today.

I've been using these Makeup Revolution Radiant Lights powders (£5 each) for a while now so I'll share my thoughts with you.

Packaging

As you can see, the outer packaging is this lovely metallic rose gold coloured box and inside there is a generously sized compact which is black, sturdy, has a mirror in the lid and gold writing. I like!

The Colours

Firstly, look how pretty they are in the pan.
On the left we have Exhale, this is a frosty pink colour with an almost white-silver shimmer through. On the right we have Breathe which is a warmer, champagne colour and this isn't as frosty or shimmery as Exhale.

Application

Left- Exhale Right- Breathe (sorry they were hard to swatch)

These powders apply and blend really well. Breathe applies like a dream, it's subtle, radiant and gives that almost soft-focus look I crave on a daily basis.
Exhale is a bit more powdery but still blends out well, I use it as a highlight as it is more shimmery/frosty and it catches the light beautifully.

Lasting Power

I don't have much to say on this front as I get naturally more radiant from oil throughout the day but they seem to last well on my skin.

Overall

These are gorgeous powders, I would especially recommend Breatheif you want that all over radiance and blur effect. I haven't tried any of the hourglass ambient lighting powders but exhale is what I imagine them to be like haha and for £5 you can't really go wrong.

Have you tried these powders or any other similar powders on a budget- let me know below.

If you want to see how exhale applies on video I've used it in my most recent YouTube video here or below
