Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter Review

I know I wrote on the video that I just posted that I didn't have the energy for a blogpost but then I remembered that I have been wanting to share this little bad boy with you guys for ages. It's The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter (£12).
I also couldn't leave a Sunday without a beauty post.

I know everyone and their sister has already reviewed this and I'm a wee bit late to the party but some of you might want to know how I feel about it:

Apologies for the pics, don't know what my camera was thinking.

SO First thing's first, the packaging.

It comes in a screw top flattish tin. I really like the packaging, it's sleek and looks nice on the side of my bath (where I keep it) and the screw top keeps it fresh. It is quite large in circumference but that doesn't bother me.

The Scent

I think my favourite thing about this product is the scent. It is a really clean, fresh, calming scent. I love to use this at night when I'm feeling tired and stressed out.

The texture

As you can see from the pics below, the product comes in a solid form, it looks almost grainy but as soon as you rub it between your hands, or on your face, the heat melts the product into a gorgeous, silky oil.

How do you use it?

As I mentioned before I take a bit of it out (about the size in the pic below),  and apply it to my face, rubbing it all over my face until it melts. I keep massaging it in, over my eye makeup and all over my face until I feel like it has broken down all my makeup. I then take a damp facecloth and wash it off, rubbing in circular motions. Once I have done that, I'll either take a smaller bit and do a second cleanse or use another cleanser.
I tend to use this about 3-5 times per week.

How effective is it?

I have combination skin, it can get quite dry around the perimeters and oily on the nose and t-zone. I have had a few breakouts recently and I find that this calms them down.
It doesn't clog my skin up or make it oily, it really does a good job at removing all makeup including they're real mascara which is notoriously hard to get off.

So all in all I really like this stuff, it's effective, smells divine, calms me down and doesn't break me out. What more could I want?

Have you tried it, what do you think? Have you tried the oil, should I? Let me know in the comments below.
