Autumn Lip Picks for all Budgets.

So it's that time of year, the days are getting shorter, the temperature is falling (some days) and the leaves are starting to fall off the trees ( I nearly wrecked myself sliding on one the other day)
so it's time to change up the old war paint a wee bit and crack out the Autumn lippies!

So without further ado- here we have my Autumn Lip Picks:

First up we have what has been my most looked forward to lip colour- Kate Moss 107- £5.49 (but there is always an offer somewhere)
This is a lovely deep red/wine colour and it's matte. Everyone probably owns this- if not then why? it's gorgeous!! I like to wear it with a red lipliner to bring out the red tones in it, It really lasts too and doesn't go all over your face.

Next we have MUA Luxe Velvet lip laquer in Reckless, This is another deep red, matte lip product. It's like the Limecrime Velvetines in that it comes out liquid and dries completely matte and transfer proof, however, it is a bargain at only £3.

On to Pinks. Just because it's Autum doesn't mean I can leave my love of pink lippies behing and this NYX Xtreme Lip Cream in Bonfire-£7 (is the perfect soft autumnal pink with warm, mauvey undertones. It is also 1 of only 2 glosses in my picks but I've been really enjoying this as an alternative to lipstick during the day.

Like I just said, I can't ignore my pinks just because it's autumn and I always need a bright lip option regardless of the season and my new fave comes in the form of this NYX Matte lipstick in Shocking Pink. It's a matte bluetones barbie pink and reminds me a bit of MAC Candy YumYum on the lips. Not typical autumnal but the matte formula hides the brightness somewhat.

On to More neutral shades. This, Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Rapture- £15 has been my everyday almost nude colour. It's got a disinctly 90s feel to it and it's that bit darker and more berry/mauvey toned. It's not my usual thing but I really like this and the formula is lovely too.

And the award for the worst swatch in the world goes to.... I just couldn't get this to look right on my hands so for this one I'll include me wearing it. It's the W7 Full Time Lip Colour in Wicked- £4.95 This was sent to me by the lovely folk at W7 to try out. Its one of those 2 in one lip stain/gloss thingy magingys. On one end it has a lovely Berry red with a hint of brown lip stain which is nice on it's own and dries matte and on the other end is a clear gloss. I think I prefer the colour on it's own and it lasts ages too- it lasted through me eating 2 meals.

If you know anything about me it's that I've become obsessed with purple lips so I'm so excited to be able to wear these next ones more often.

No purple lip collection is complete without MAC Heroine- £15.50. A gorgeous matte 'deep plum' colour that lasts ages and just looks amazing.

For the penultimate pick, we have another purple- a slightly darker one in the form of Sleek Exxxaggerate. Another matte (are you sensing a theme? Gorgeous, comfortable and long lasting and a bargain at £4.99

And lastly (phew this was a long point- 10 points to you if you get this far!!) is my Tanya Burr Lipgloss in Exotic Island. £6.99 (currently £4.66 here.) This purpley-pink toned gloss is just gorgeous and has featured in many a post before. It's lovely on it's on but in this instance I've added it as I love to layer it over the previous 2 lippies if I fancy a more glossy lip.
