Look of the day- Wedding Guest

So since I accidentally posted today's scheduled post on Thursday (I'll get the hang of this some day lol), I just thought I'd share the look I went for at the wedding I attended yesterday. There will be a full post with pics of my trip back home but this is a wee snippet.
So I wore a purple dress from Yours Clothing that I got in the sale in Jan. I wasn't sure about it but I liked it on the day.

The silver pashmina came from eBay and was only something like £2.89. And true to form I teamed it with flat strappy sandals but you couldn't see that anyway as the dress was so long. I kept it simple with my jewelary, a pair of sparkly large stud earrings and a long 3d heart necklace was all I needed.

I actually tanned for the first time in months using the dove summer glow for medium to dark skin which is the tan I use all the time.

My hair was thrown up in a messy up do with a quiff and oh so many hair grips. Not sure if it was very 'wedding guest' but it was so warm and it was simple.

My makeup Base was quite matte, with the help of Rimmel Stay Matte powder, as obviously at weddings there are pics galore happening but I used Pinktastic Baked Blush from Elf as a highlight on my cheekbones. I went for a grey smokey eye from my naked 2 palette and opted for They're Real mascara from Benefit instead of false lashes. My lip was hot plum from Maybelline in the Colour Sensational Vivids collection with a wee bit of Tanya Burr Picnic in the Park to lighten it up. And I contoured a wee bit with Makeup Revolution Bronzer in Medium Matte.

So that was me. I had a great day and felt quite good! Hope you like.
