I'm pretty bored today so I've decided to try out a matte eye look. I am usually a massive shimmer fiend but I've been seeing some really nice matte eyes at the min so I thought I'd give it a goI used my Urban Decay Naked 2 Pallette (Christmas present from the Boyfriend) In the two Matte Shades Foxy and Tease as well as the blackout to line upper lashes and my waterline. So here is my Face of the day:
To Create the Look:
Foxy is a lovely matte off-white shade, I worked this all across my eye as a base and took it right up to my brow bone like I would with my normal shimmer highlighter.
I then took Tease which is a lovely matte taupe-brown colour and started at the outer corner of my eyes, blending inwards to create a blended subtle effect,
I also added a wee bit more of the tease at the very corner of my eye to define and some more foxy at my inner corner to brighten and widen.
To line I took the blackout colour which is a matte black, in the pallette it seems to have glitter through, I have only ever used it for lining using a very thin brush (I actually use a nail art brush that I don't use on my nauls but sssssh don't tell anyone!) which I dip in water to help it glide accross and to make it more concentrated and pigmented and I've never seen any glitter pieces come out.
I, of course then added a slick of my Rimmel London Lash accelerator endless Lash in Extra Black to finish it off
What I slapped on my face:
Primer: Maybelline Dream smooth primer base Alisadora- A bought it and forgot it but not sure how I feel about it
Foundation: Maybelline Fit Me shade 135
Concealer- Benefit Boi-ing in 02 medium (bought on Ebay years should chuck away)
Powder Finish- MUA Pressed Powder in Shade 2
Cheeks- The Next Cashmere collection pallette that was out around Christmas- I use the blush and highlight colours and swirl them together
To contour: Rimmel Sunshimmer bronzer in Medium Matte (old faithful)
Lips: 17 Lip Crayon in Knockout (I love this thing)
Lots of Love Lozzy xoxo
(I want a lippy in this colour what do you think?)
